Squaw Creek Llamas

Picture from Squaw Creek Llamas

Picture from Squaw Creek Llamas Squaw Creek Llamas is located at the base of the Wind River mountains, and l50 miles from Yellowstone Park. We have been raising llamas since 1985. Our first objective was to produce large, straight animals with great temperaments. Our second objective was to raise predominantly dark animals. Our third goal was to put the right amount of fiber on head, body, and legs for aesthetic value, without losing the function and well-being of the animals.

Reaching all of the above goals and wanting to diversify our herd, we just recently purchased a small herd of appaloosa females and a beautiful young appaloosa stud, Bold Accent. He should be working Spring of 1999.

We breed both domestic and Bolivian bloodlines and maintain a female herd of between 25-30 animals plus four standing studs. Our sales of our animals have included breeding stock, show animals, fiber animals, 4-H animals, herd sires, packing, sheep and goat guard animas, cart pullers, and of course just wonderful pet pet companion animals. Our breeding season is from April to September.

Another expansion at Squaw Creek Llamas is the Spring of 1999 opening of the Cottage House of Squaw Creek Guest House and B&B. This will be a special retreat for animal lovers, enjoying the majestic llamas at Squaw Creek or bringing your own llama(s) while staying at the B&B/Guest House. We have facilities for your llama(s) as well as for you!

As you can see by our logos, we believe llamas are a very functional, as well as rewarding animal to raise. For further information or to just talk llamas please contact us.
