Sputtermill Ranch Llamas

Founded in 1992, Sputtermill Ranch is located in rural North Central Massachusetts in the beautiful area known as the North Quabbin Region. We are 30 minutes northeast of the five college area of Amherst , 45 minutes northwest of Worcester, and 10 minutes south of Route 2. Petersham is the third largest town in land area in Massachusetts with a population of only 1,100. We are a small ranch carved into the woods on twenty acres. Our llamas share this wilderness area with passing herds of deer, soaring hawks and eagles, and an occasional sighting of otter, moose, fisher, and bear.

We offer sales of quality breeding and companion animals, stud service, and sales of fiber and llama gift items. We have hosted several successful jackpot competitions on the natural trail course we have created on our ranch. It is our belief that farm jackpots add a great deal to the enjoyment and relationship we can have with our animals. We also offer a limited number of educational programs at schools, libraries, and craft centers. Since 1996, we have presenting our New Owners/Buyers Seminar at llama events. We enjoy sharing our enthusiasm with other owners and with those interested in owning llamas. We hope you will also come to know the llama as we have and feel the positive changes they can make in your life.
