Trekking in SouthWestern Virginia. Pack trips into Mt. Rogers and Virginia Creeper Trail offered. The trails we follow in the vicinity of Straight Mountain and Iron Mountain rise and fall gently from 3200 to 3600 feet elevation.
A big part of the fun of a Treasure Mountain Farm Llama Trek is sharing the trail with these remarkable animals. They work hard, enjoy the hikes, and are good companions. Come hike with Dennis, Coffee, Satchmo, Inca Chief and Snow Chief.
Picnic Llama Trek: $60 per day per person (discounted rates for larger groups). Overnight back country trip: Call for more details. Trips available April through October.

VA Highland Llamas
Virginia Highland Llamas

Enjoy a day in the beautiful Southwest Virginia Mountains! See spectacular scenery and enjoy a delightful lunch. We provide a full day, leisurely conducted trek, using one of two trails. One is for folks who prefer the less strenuous and those who wish to bring young children to hike with llamas. This is a one mile hike, taking a ridge route hike-in and a woods route hike-out. Enjoy a beautiful stream and a delightful view.

The other offers 3 miles of spectacular scenery on an old pioneer trail used for generations on a north-south footpath.
