Support after the sale
Support after the sale may be particularly important for some people. If you really want to own llama(s) but are anxious about what might happen after the sale, then you should bear this in mind as you shop around for llamas. Do you get the impression from the seller that they are knowledgeable and helpful? Failing that, are there llama owners close to you or is there a local llama association where you can gather help, information and support?
Bear in mind that most of us "old timers" in the llama business started out with little or no local support, and we still made it OK. It just depends on what you feel you will need for support. If support will be important to you, then it should be a consideration in the sale. If not, you can wing it.
