"Eagle" has settled several gals and we are expecting our first in April 1999. We had not planned on offering outside breedings until we had his darlings pronking around the farm, but we have had requests and have decided to allow 2 additional outside breedings this spring and 3 in the fall.
When we brought "Eagle" home at 6 months, he was literally dripping with curls. With his (and our) first year of showing, we just had to have him perfect and we combed his curls to waves, although they still peek out down his legs and cheeks and his face is covered with black curly wool. His fiber was milky chocolate when he came here but it has changed, not sun-dyed, changing to a spectrum of browns and lots of mahogany and reds with dark pewter deep in his very abundant, lustrous, and silky fiber.
A correct fellow, he took Reserve Grand Champion in the Heavy Wool Juvenile class of his first ALSA show. Last, but surely not least, "Eagle" is a darling to handle, bright, friendly and eager to please.
