We purchased Boskey Dell Mcgrath (Grand Champion Ohio State Fair 1995) when we saw LW Irridess, one of the most gorgeous herdsires even at 11 year old that we had ever seen and could just picture what her baby to him would be.
When "Ave" was born we couldn't have been more delighted with his unusual markings of copper and silver on his face and his fiber that seemed to glow in the dark.
"Ave" has placed in the top 3 of the 2 ALSA Shows as a Juvenile in heavy wool in very large classes.
Both judges remarked on his stretchy neck and elegant fiber. His fiber won Grand Champion at the Derry Ag Fair. The judge found me after the presentations and was amazed at its quality.
"Ave" has the finest dispostion. He is calm and sweet and loves to have his cheeks scratched. He has had small children sit on his back and give him hugs and he looks so proud. Unabashedly our farm favorite, we will be offering him for very limited outside breedings in the spring of 2000.
