Here we celebrate the camel, the "Ship of the Desert", as opposed to the llama, the "Truck of the Andes". LlamaWeb was expanded to cover camels at the request of Dr. Tibary at tibary@vetmed.wsu.edu a veterinarian who is now working in the United States at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University. He also supplied the image used above, of a very fine racing camel or dromedary (this was while he was doing veterinary work in Abu Dhabi).
